On Playing Trombone
On Playing Trombone is a book in progress. [Thanks to Pee Wee Hockey] Although mostly text based, there are many illustrations, diagrams and explanations for many aspects of performance that are ignored, or misunderstood. But, there is also a great deal of information about the art of performance.
Below are a selection of several of the short chapters (of well over 30)
that make up this book. I hope you find them helpful. I will make sure
you know when (if?) this book is published in its entirety. Keep in mind that
this is a work in progress - so you may (will...) find marginal notes
and incomplete sections that I will update as I edit and complete the book.
I will add active links as I get sample chapters edited.
