Music Cognition is relatively new as a discipline. This field is so extremely broad that it is difficult to define the areas of interest in Music Cognition. There is a great deal of overlap with other disciplines, but basically, Music Cognition has to do with our perception and interpretation of sound. Even so, the number of questions and the paucity of answers easily establishes
