Welcome to the homepage of Vanderbilt’s chapter of Tri Delta. We are very proud of the rich history and founding purpose of Tri Delta. At Vanderbilt, Tri Deltas emphasize a sense of community by participating in service activities and fun social events.
Highlights of this fall include claiming 1st place at Greek Fest 2006, a September competition between fraternity and sorority pairings. Tri Deltas also worked together with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Beta Theta Pi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternities to plan Kickoff Cookoff, a barbeque competition between local Nashville restaurants. The event benefited the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the American Cancer Society, raising over $9000.
In October we hosted our first TriHop event, a late-night pancake breakfast benefiting our local philanthropy, the Monroe Carell Junior’s Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Supplies and mix for the event were graciously donated by Waffle House, and thanks to the huge turnout, we raised nearly $1000 for the Children’s Hospital. TriHop was a huge success, and we hope to make TriHop, an event “Saving Lives…One Stack at a Time!” a new tradition at Vanderbilt.
After a busy and very successful fall, Vanderbilt’s chapter of Tri Delta looks forward to welcoming new members this January. Please explore our website to learn more about the Tri Delta chapter at Vanderbilt!
