FAQ's
What happens when I have unused airline tickets?
Your unused airline tickets, if purchased through the TravelVU booking tool or a FROSCH Travel Agent, will appear when searching for a flight and viewing fares through the tool. (NOTE: unused airline tickets must be used by the original traveler and cannot be transferred.)
How does insurance coverage work while I´m traveling on business?
Your current medical and life insurance policies cover you as they normally do. In addition, when traveling on properly authorized Vanderbilt business 1) the employee is covered by the university´s workers´ compensation policy if injured and 2) if traveling by personal automobile the employee´s own auto insurance serves as the primary policy with Vanderbilt´s liability policy providing additional coverage if needed.
