Electronics Recycling Event a Huge Success

The Vanderbilt-sponsored Electronics Recycling Event filled 25 tractor trailers with electronics for recycling, with more than 1,000 people dropping off items during the community recycling event.

Electronics Recycling Days:
May 14-17
9AM-3PM

 

 

 

Vanderbilt University is hosting a recycling drive for electronics at the LP Field, May 14-17, from 9am to 3pm each day.  It is part of a state-wide joint initative by Vanderbilt University, East Tennesee State University, and the University of Memphis.  All types of electronics are accepted: computers, monitors, TVs, keyboards, printers, copiers, and much more.  A detailed list of what is and is not accepted can be found here.  

 

From May 14-16, higher education institutions, K-12 schools, school districts, government agencies and non-profit organizations can bring their electronics to LP Field for FREE recycling. To sign up your institution, click here.  

 

On May 17, households and individuals that want to recycle their unwanted electronics can drop off their items anytime from 9 am - 3 pm at LP Field (Titans Stadium).  Click here for more details.  Vanderbilt faculty & staff are welcome to drop off their unwanted electronics on Friday, May 16  - no appointment necessary.
