Lindsay Walker, recycling coordinator for residential and events operations, is the latest addition to SEMO’s team! In this role, Lindsay will manage the campus residential recycling program, special events recycling operations, and recycling student workers and volunteers. Walker recently graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, where she served as Vice-President of Our Natural Environment (O.N.E. Club), Belmont’s environmental club, and conducted research on composting and local food systems. Lindsay has also worked at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, the Produce Place, and for Nashville’s Metro Beautification and Environment Commission. In her free time, you might find Lindsay at Fido or Marche, two of her favorite local establishments that specialize in organic and artisan foods, or seeing wildlife while walking around Radnor Lake. Welcome, Lindsay!
