Student Organization Registration

Welcome to Student Organization Registration!! The registration process serves to provide current information to the Office of the Dean of Students and the University population at large. We are also interested in encouraging each organization to take a look at who they are and set goals for the academic year.

As a result, students are required to provide an updated constitution every year. Current copies of constitutions are on file and may be obtained upon emailed request. This form must accompany the signature page at the end of the registration form (pdf form) or be uploaded along with the registration form. Each organization must receive approval from the Office of Student Governance and Organizations in order to be considered a Vanderbilt organization and to receive the following services:

Use of the Vanderbilt name to identify institutional affiliation
Use of University meeting rooms and facilities
Opportunity to use office space and equipment in Sarratt Student Center
Use of the Vanderbilt accounting system
Free organizational consulting and training by University administrators

The Registration Process

There are three steps to the registration process:

Fill out the online registration form (Religious organizations must print out this form prior to submitting it electronically).
Print out the Officer & Adviser Affirmation Form (pdf) and the Room Charge Authorization Form (pdf)
Bring the signed Affirmation Form and the signed Room Charge Authorization Form, along with your organization's Constitution, to 207 Sarratt

All three steps must be completed to register.
