Directions and Parking

The Student Life Center is located at 310 25th Avenue South, on Vanderbilt's campus in Nashville, Tennessee. See MapQuest for driving directions from your location. We also have a Vicinity Map that shows local interstates. The Kensington and Central (25th Ave) Garages shown on the map can be reserved for event parking only. The Wesley Place and Terrace Place Garages are for public parking.

Getting to Vanderbilt from Nashville International Airport

Take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left onto Broadway. Follow Broadway and veer right to West End Avenue. Turn left on 25th Avenue South. The Student Life Center will be on your left across from Memorial Gym and there is metered parking off of Vanderbilt Place (the last stop sign before the building). Allow approximately thirty minutes driving time from the airport to Vanderbilt University Student Life Center. If traffic is light, it will take less time.

Getting to Vanderbilt via the Interstates

From the north, take I-65 to I-40 west and then look for I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right onto Broadway, which will turn into West End Ave. Turn left on 25th Avenue South. The Student Life Center (310 25th Avenue South) will be on your left across from Memorial Gym and there is metered parking off of Vanderbilt Place (the last stop sign before the building).

From the east or south, take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left on Broadway, which will turn into West End Ave.Turn left on 25th Avenue South. The Student Life Center (310 25th Avenue South) will be on your left across from Memorial Gym and there is metered parking off of Vanderbilt Place (the last stop sign before the building).

From the west, take I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right on Broadway (US 70S). Broadway becomes West End Avenue. Turn left on 25th Avenue South. The Student Life Center (310 25th Avenue South) will be on your left across from Memorial Gym and there is metered parking off of Vanderbilt Place (the last stop sign before the building).

Vanderbilt is located a mile and a half southwest of downtown Nashville and is approximately 4 hours from Atlanta, 3 hours from Birmingham, 2 1/2 hours from Knoxville, 3 hours from Louisville, and 3 hours from Memphis.

Directions to Public Parking

Directions from the airport to Wesley Place public parking garage:
Take I-40 West toward Nashville. Follow the signs for I-24 West/I-40 West, then I-65 South/I-40 West. Exit at Broadway. At the base of the ramp, go straight through the traffic light at McGavock Street, and turn left onto Broadway. Stay left. Continue on Broadway to 16th Avenue, where the road splits. Veer left onto Broadway. Broadway will become 21st Avenue South. As you pass the traffic light at Grand Avenue, the Vanderbilt main campus will be on your right. Turn left at Scarritt Place (first traffic light after Grand Avenue). The entrance to the Wesley Place parking garage will be on your right, 1/2 block past the intersection. Public parking spaces are 52-170.

Directions from the airport to Terrace Place public parking garage:
Take I-40 West towards Nashville. Follow the signs for I-24 West/I-40 West, then I-65 South/I-40 West. Exit at Broadway. At the base of the ramp, go straight through the traffic light at McGavock Street, and turn left onto Broadway. Stay right. Continue on Broadway to 16th Avenue, where the road splits. Veer right onto West End Avenue. Turn left onto 21st Avenue South (a one-way street). Take the first left onto Terrace Place. Go 1/2 block. The Terrace Place garage entrance will be on your left. Public parking spaces are 1-92.

Directions from the airport to Kensington parking garage (event parking only):
Take I-40 West towards Nashville. Follow the signs for I-24 West/I-40 West, then I-65 South/I-40 West. Exit at Broadway. At the base of the ramp, go straight through the traffic light at McGavock Street, and turn left onto Broadway. Stay right. Continue on Broadway to 16th Avenue, where the road splits. Veer right onto West End Avenue. Continue on West End until you come to 25th Ave. Turn left onto 25th and the entrance to Kensington garage will be immediately on your right, just past the entrance to Borders.

Directions from the airport to Central (25th Ave) parking garage (event parking only):
Take I-40 West towards Nashville. Follow the signs for I-24 West/I-40 West, then I-65 South/I-40 West. Exit at Broadway. At the base of the ramp, go straight through the traffic light at McGavock Street, and turn left onto Broadway. Stay right. Continue on Broadway to 16th Avenue, where the road splits. Veer right onto West End Avenue. Continue on West End until you come to 25th Ave. Turn left onto 25th. Go straight through the first stop sign, after which you'll pass the Student Life Center on your left. Continue on 25th until you come to a 4-way stop with Highland Ave. Turn left on Highland and you'll see the entrance to the Central Garage on your right.
