Welcome to Vanderbilt Student Employment.

STUDENTS:

Students who have financial aid award packages that include a Federal Work Study (FWS) award are eligible for FWS positions offered by on-campus departments. There are also community service tutoring positions available through our Pencil Foundation and KIPP partners. VUMC may also request FWS eligible students for select positions.

There are many student positions available in University departments that do not require FWS funding which include undergraduate students who have an Academic Year Earnings Expectations listed on their Financial Aid Notification Letter. Student Employment does not assign or place students into employment positions. Students may initiate their job search by logging onto the online job bank,  HireADore. Position postings for both FWS and non-FWS as well as off-campus opportunities may be found there.

EMPLOYERS:

University hiring departments:  Students are seeking employment to help with their educational expenses as well as the learning opportunity that comes from part time employment.  Please post your open positions in HireADore. If you need assistance with your job post or the hiring process please contact Student Employment.

VUMC hiring departments may post positions in HireADore. Student Employment and VUMC-VTS will work together in helping fill your part-time positions with a student.  At this time students may not use their FWS funds for positions at VUMC. .

Off-Campus employers may post part-time employment opportunities for current Vanderbilt students through the HireADore website. It is a free service to all employers seeking part time employees.
