Vanderbilt offers part time on-campus employment opportunities to eligible students.

Students whose financial aid award packages include a Federal Work Study award are eligible for FWS employment. There are many student jobs available on campus through the VIE program for students who are not eligible for FWS, which include undergraduate students who have an Academic Year Earnings Expectations listed on the Financial Aid Notification Letter. Student Employment does not assign or place students into employment positions. Students may initiate the job search by logging onto the online job bank,  HireADore. Position postings for both FWS and VIE as well as off-campus opportunties may be found there.

Student Employment provides assistance to University and Medical departments who hire students. Students may be employed in your department through FWS or the VIE program.  Part-time jobs help students meet a portion of their educational expenses while learning job skills and obtaining valuable work experience. Please post your open positions in HireADore.

Off-Campus employers may post part-time employment opportunities for current Vanderbilt students through the HireADore website. It is a free service to all employers who wish to list employment opportunities as well as to VU students seeking employment.


2015 Employment W-2’s are mailed to the address on record in C2HR beginning January 26th. Your W-2 is also available in C2HR, click on the link for "Taxes" in the right sidebar.

All students employed at Vanderbilt University are required to complete the I-9 Process prior to starting employment for the first time on Vanderbil Campus.

Original documentation will be required. copies will not be accepted.
