It's that time of year again. Exams are almost here! If you're looking to get out of your room for some studying, the Student Centers have space available. SARRATT STUDENT CENTER | RAND HALL: All common spaces open 24/7 April 23rd through May 2nd. *Free coffee will be available courtesy of Campus Dining and the Office of the Dean of Students from 6pm - 9pm in Rand Lounge on April 24th, 25th, 28th, and 29th.* STUDENT LIFE CENTER: Lower Level Meeting Rooms open 7am - 11pm April 23rd through May 2nd.

All reservations for registered student organizations will open online beginning Monday, April 15, 2013 at 8am for FALL 2013 and SPRING 2014.  Beginning Wednesday, April 17^th @ 8am reservations can be made in our office, by phone or email. Rehearsal space may be requested for the Fall Semester only. Early booking will be available online!!!! Web users will be able to make their requests online through Virtual EMS ONLY beginning Monday, April 15th, 2013 @ 8am.  Each registered student organization is allowed to have access to our online reservation system.  If your organization does not have an account, please sign up TODAY! You may create an account and book space if you are listed as an officer in Anchor Link for your registered student organization. Please remember that in order to make these requests, you must first renew your organization's registration for the 2013-14 academic year by April 5th. Please feel free to call our office for assistance or with questions @ 322-2448.  If needed, step by step instructions will be available on our website @ www.vanderbilt.edu/reservations.

Student leaders will be able to renew their organization's registration for the 2013-14 academic year beginning March 11th.  All organizations must renew their registration annually in order to be recognized by the University as a registered student organization (RSO).  The deadline for renewal for the 2013-14 academic year is April 5, 2013. Registration will be conducted through Anchor Link Reservations for all event and meeting space will open online for Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 on April 15^th! Add some pizzazz to your next event with our electric keyboard.  The Yamaha PSR-41 keyboard (includes bag, power cord and stand) can be rented through Reservations & Events for a daily $10 fee.  Please contact us today to reserve for your upcoming event or rehearsal.

Do you have an upcoming event and need a space to store your equipment/favors/prizes? Sarratt Student Center|Rand Hall now has short term reservable storage space available for registered student organizations. Have you booked a lawn for your organization’s spring event?  Lawns are filling up fast, so come see us soon to book!  With the Student Rec Center under construction, there will be limited availability for fenced-in fields.  But not to worry!  We can help you find the best space for your event. Please remember that Special Event Registration is required for all outdoor events.  We have streamlined the process with Anchor Link, so it’s much easier to get ready for that Wednesday meeting!  Schedule your event and SER meeting today!

Rand Lounge is an open, unique space to host your next event.  To date we’ve hosted a multitude of events including VPB’s Drag Queen Bingo, DJ Ron, Matt Wertz, 4^th Friday events, football/basketball viewing parties and a VPAC Showcase.  Touch base with Reservations & Events to see if your next event would work perfectly in this new space.

Student Organizations may reserve a table to market your upcoming event in three locations on campus.  Tables can be reserved at The Commons Center, Sarratt Promenade or the Rand Wall.   Please contact our office  or visit Virtual EMS today to reserve your table.  Indoor tables are first come first serve.
