Bulletin Board Policies

Main Bulletin Board

  • All postings must be approved by the Commons Center Information Desk Staff.
  • Approved postings include those from Student Organizations and University Departments for programs benefiting the Vanderbilt Community. No commercial/outside vendors’ materials may be posted.
  • All postings must identify the event, the event sponsor, the time and date of the event. Exceptions will be determined by CC staff.
  • Postings are only permitted on the provided bulletin board space. All others will be recycled.
  • All postings must be stamped in accordance with the event end date or semester end date. Postings without a stamp are subject to recycling.
  • Maximum number of posters is
    • o 2 – 8 ½” x 11” OR
    • o 1 – 11” x 17”
    • o No POSTER BOARDS
  • Only thumbtacks are permitted, do not staple! Please see the Commons Center Information Desk for additional thumbtacks as needed.
