Student Centers are currently accepting applications for employment for this coming Fall. Vanderbilt students have until March 15 to apply. For more information please visit our employment page by clicking here.

The Commons Center's building hours are posted in the About tab and can also be found by accessing the Common Place calendar commonplace.vanderbilt.edu. Beginning Friday, December 7th, rooms will be available for Winter Exam 24/7 Study Space unless meetings are taking place. See event room cards on doors for meeting reservations. Spaces include: Living Room 100 Fireside Lounge 107 Commons Lounge 200 Dean of The Commons Conference Room 202 Study Lounges 215 and 216 Towers Conference Room 233 The Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) 235 and 237 Good luck on Exams!

VSG Fall Break Airport Shuttles will run Wednesday, October 3. Pick up is behind Hank Ingram House. Shuttles will run roughly once an hour from 12-6 PM. Be sure to leave plenty of time.

Temperatures are dropping, colors are changing, and sweaters and boots are being dug out of storage...it must be fall at Vanderbilt! Fall break is just around the corner and The Commons Center encourages everyone to have fun, relax, and be safe this week. As you get your final preparations ready for the Finance Industry Career Day, put on by the Center for Student Professional Development, please remember that the location of the event is the Multi-Purpose Room at the Commons Center . Normally these events are held in the Commodore Ballroom at the Student Life Center, but due to scheduling conflicts this event has been relocated to the Commons Center.

It's summertime and the livin' is easy! With the last of exams wrapping up and students moving out, it is important to note the summer schedule taking effect at The Commons Center for the next few months. The Commons Center will take on adjusted hours during the summer. Building hours of operation will vary from week to week, but look for most days to take a traditional 7 AM to 5 PM approach. Building hours will be posted on-site in two-week cycles. The Commons Food Gallery will be open from 7 AM to 2 PM every day this summer due to the Rand renovation. Menu items can be found through the Vanderbilt Dining webpage. Thank you so much for a great semester, students! Have a great summer, and good luck to the graduating class of 2012!

Exam time is upon us here at Vanderbilt, so we here at The Commons Center are trying to do everything in our power to assist you in your time of extreme studying. All meeting spaces in The Commons Center are available for studying when no events are being held. This means that the Fireside Lounge, the MPR, the Towers Conference Room, and all other areas on the first two floors are open for business. Additionally, look for special deals and study breaks, such as last night's Chick-Fil-A surprise. Finish out the year strong!
