The renovation of Alumni Hall has been going strong all summer long. As school gets set to start and students return to campus, many of you will notice some big changes to the exterior of the building. The largest change is that the stairwells have been removed from the North side of the building, facing Kirkland Hall. This is to make way for the two new elevators that will be constructed in their place. On the South side of the building, facing Alumni Lawn, the newly expanded terrace is starting to take shape. The interior of the building has also changed a lot over the summer to make way for all of the new and renovated spaces.

Alumni Hall renovations began on May 14, 2012, following commencement. The building is undergoing its first renovation in its over 85 year history, and construction will last approximately one year. When completed, Alumni Hall will complement the already existing student centers on campus with new dining options, meeting and classroom space.
