Why Hannah is a Student-Athlete of the Month . . .
Hannah has made tremendous academic and athletic progress over the past three years. Recently, she was named to the Dean’s List and SEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of her performance and achievement in the classroom. Coach MacDonald continues to praise Hannah for her work ethic, perseverance and continued improvement. She drastically improved her individual record by winning several matches in fall tournaments and as a result, has emerged as a key contributor to the team’s success. Why Myron is a Student-Athlete of the Month . . .
It has been my pleasure getting to know Myron over the course of his three years here, and watching him develop in the classroom and on the field. He has become a leader in both areas. He was most recently named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for his academic achievements. In addition, he will be able to graduate early, in December 2009, and hopes to pursue a career in the NFL. He has also steadily improved on the football field: His late, great interceptions in both the Auburn and Music City Bowl games sealed Vanderbilt's victories. I will miss Myron when he leaves - particularly his sense of humor - and hope to keep up with him in the years to come. -Elizabeth Wright
