Vanderbilt University is consistently ranked as one of the premier universities in the country. The academic standards for student-athletes are never compromised. They are expected to achieve in the classroom as well as on their fields of play. Vanderbilt is proud of the student-athletes and the academic honors they have collected.

Overall Academic Achievements

  • 44 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans
  • 93% student-athlete Graduation Success Rate over the last six years

2006-2007 Academic Achievements

  • #1 ranking for graduation rates in the Southeastern Conference
  • 92 Commodore student-athletes were named to the Dean's List
  • 172 Commodore student-athletes achieved 3.0 Club status
  • 169 Commodore student-athletes were selected to the SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Erika Schneble named the 2007 female recipient of the prestigious H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar Athlete Award. This is the highest honor bestowed upon a student-athlete by the Southeastern Conference.
  • Erika Schneble awarded a NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
