Major: Human & Organizational Development

Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose to attend Vanderbilt because of the combination of the unbeatable education as well as the competitive lacrosse program.  From the first time I visited, I felt the amazing chemistry between the lacrosse team, and I fell in love with the culture-filled city of Nashville.

What are your career goals?
In the future, I aim to pursue a career in human capital consulting.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
I think it is extremely important to be organized and have communication with teachers.  I have found that professors at Vanderbilt are a great resource for everything.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
Personally, being organized helps me to be successful.  As a student-athete it is important to be flexible but having strict deadlines and goals helps to be prepared for anything.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I do not have a ritual per se before I take a test.  I just try to take a deep breath, relax and remember everything I studied.

What is your favorite quote?
“To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funny bone.”
-Reba McEntire
