We offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary eating disorder care at the Vanderbilt Student Health Center. Whether you have previously been in treatment or are newly seeking care for this issue, the medical providers at Student Health can work with you. Services include evaluation and ongoing management of eating disorders with a multidisciplinary approach involving medical, nutritional, and mental health services.
Vanderbilt’s Eating Disorder Team includes medical providers and an eating disorders nutritionist from the Student Health Center, as well as mental health professionals from the Psychological and Counseling Center (PCC). This group meets regularly to coordinate care in the university setting.
Additionally, for those wishing to seek care at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the Adolescent and Young Adult Eating Disorders Program at Children’s Hospital offers similar services at their 100 Oaks campus.
We encourage any student struggling with disordered eating or body image issues to schedule an appointment to a provider at Student Health.
