PAYMENT OF INVOICE
As you prepare for the 2009-2010 academic year, we would like to provide you with information about relevant financial policies and procedures related to your upcoming payment obligations.
FALL 2009 SEMESTER
The payment deadline for fall semester 2009 charges is August 19, 2009 (excluding Owen Executive MBA students). Current charges can be deferred (excluding Owen students) if a Student Account Agreement is on file in the Office of Student Accounts. Any balance not paid by the payment deadline will be assessed a 1.5% late payment fee (minimum $5) on August 20, 2009, and monthly thereafter. The assessment of late fees is also applicable to deferred balances. Diploma and transcripts will be held until all balances are paid. If you anticipate a problem, please contact the Office of Student Accounts prior to August 19, 2009. If you will not be enrolling for the fall semester, please notify the Registrar of your school by this deadline. If your account is not paid or deferred by August 19, 2009, your Oasis access will not be available and you will not be allowed to register nor attend classes.
SPRING 2010 SEMESTER
The payment deadline for spring semester 2010 charges is January 7, 2010 (excluding Owen Executive MBA students). Current charges can be deferred (excluding Owen students) if a Student Account Agreement is on file in the Office of Student Accounts. Any balance not paid by the payment deadline will be assessed a 1.5% late payment fee (minimum $5) on January 7, 2010, and monthly thereafter. The assessment of late fees is also applicable to deferred balances. Diploma and transcripts will be held until all balances are paid. If you anticipate a problem, please contact the Office of Student Accounts prior to January 7, 2010. Students and guarantors will be responsible for payment of all costs, including reasonable attorney fees and collection agency fees, incurred by the University in collection monies owed to the University. The University will assess a $25.00 fee for any check returned by the bank and reserves the right to invoke the laws of the State of Tennessee governing bad checks. |
