Admission into the training program is available to graduate students with research interests in Chemical Biology and admission into the Department of Chemistry , the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IGP) or Chemical and Physical Biology Program (CPB) who have completed the first year of graduate study.
Admissions take place at the end of the first year of graduate study. It is recommended that potential trainees investigate faculty research interests at both St. Jude and Vanderbilt using the training faculty page. Students are required to select one co-mentor from each institution. Trainees may elect to train within an existing project between the two institutions; however students are often the catalyst for new and interesting and are encouraged to develop a faculty co-mentorship that meets their specific research interests.
Admissions for the 2007-2008 training period are now being accepted.
Please send a curriculum vitae and a letter of intent which clearly outlines the proposed co-mentorship to the St. Jude / Vanderbilt Chemical Biology and Therapeutics Training Grant.
