Begun
with seed money from St. George's and Christ Church, St. Augustine's Episcopal
Chapel has served the Vanderbilt community since the mid-1950s. In recent
years, the chapel has become a vibrant place of worship and outreach not
only for Vanderbilt, but also for the wider Nashville community. Unique
in a campus setting, the intergenerational community encompasses ecumenism,
community service, overseas missions and campus ministry.

Volunteer Opportunities within St A's
There are many ongoing volunteer needs for the chapel. Many of them require a one-time only commitment and several can be done at home. Click here for a list of needs and opportunities. Celebrate, give thanks and remember
Room in the Inn at the A Frame
For seven Sunday nights this winter, the St. A's congregation hosts 10-12 men at the A frame. We need help with transportation, dinners, breakfasts, lunches, folks to spend the night and, most importantly, a person in charge of each Sunday night to help coordinate all of the volunteers. We are responsible for the following nights:
November 29; December 13, 20 and 27; January 3 and 10.
If you are interested and can help, please call or email Bo Tyler at 615.438.2551
