Olympic Sports

Still think that football, basketball, and baseball are the only sports at Vandy? Think again. Some of the most passionate Commodore athletes are found in the Track and Field, Bowling, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Cross-Country teams, which have been named the Olympic Sports.

Vandy Fanatics work to inform the general student body on game times and season standing for the lesser-known Vanderbilt teams. Fans - both students, family, friends, and any Vandy fanatics - are welcome and encouraged to attend any Vanderbilt sporting event to cheer on our Dores. The Fanatics also host at least one game per season for each Olympic sport, often with tailgates, signs, and rowdy fans who just can't get enough of Vandy athletics.
