Hawkin's Heroes

Hawkins Heroes is the group for baseball fanatics and theyare devoted to bringing the spirit and passion of Vanderbilt sports fans to Hawkins Field. Reinvogorated by Vandy's incredible 2006 season, Heroes attend home games and use their rowdy banter and matching hats to make sure that the players know they are supported.

While baseball fans tend to be passive ones, the outfits, handouts, and cheers of the Hawkins Heroes are anything but. Those who are not official members are invited to come cheer for the Commodore fielders and batters along side these baseball fanatics. Membership is open to the student body and members are accepted through a first-come-first-serve sign up process.  In the past, Hawkins’ Heroes have had a members-only pre-season banquet featuring Coach Corbin.  Hawkins’ Heroes members receive spirit handouts at various designated games throughout the season.  Heroes also participate in Vandy Fanatics’ sponsored tailgates during designated games.
