In the one-hour session, you will have the opportunity to learn suicide statistics, warning signs and risk factors, how you can help, and referral information In the two and four hour sessions, you will have the opportunity to learn suicide statistics, warning signs and risk factors, and suicide myths.
Safe Zone offers a three hour workshop encourages student, faculty, and staff to explore their personal identities, cultural identities, privilege, and what it means to be an Ally. After attending this workshop you have the choice to take a Safe Zone placard.
Have you ever been in a situation where you saw something might be wrong, wanted to help out, but didn’t know how? Interactive and Informative, the Green Dot bystander intervention workshops provide an in-depth understanding about the Green Dot campaign, and include: a comprehensive overview of power-based personal violence (intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, identity-based targeting, and bullying); a conversation about common obstacles preventing people from intervening; an opportunity to explore Green Dot for every personality; and a time for developing Green Dots you can implement in your daily lives.
