Officers and Committee Members


Julie Babbage, Overall Chair
Julie is from Lexington, Ky., and will be graduating in 2014 as an HOD honors student with minors in Spanish and philosophy. In addition to serving as chair for the Senior Class Fund, Julie also serves as president of the Student-Alumni Board and has been actively involved with Vanderbilt Political Review, Relay for Life, Vanderbilt Student Government and Kappa Delta sorority during her time on campus. After interning at the U.S. Embassy in London this past spring, Julie is interested in a career in foreign relations and government consulting. She will likely pursue a law degree upon graduation.


Erin Andrews, Communications Chair
Erin is a political science major and history minor from New Smyrna Beach, Fla. She is actively involved in Alpha Chi Omega, serves on the executive board of She's The First, has been a Connectdore and has interned for various political causes. As a transfer student who has come to truly love Vanderbilt, Erin is excited to give back through her senior gift. She plans to give to the Special Collections Library, where she has worked since sophomore year, and her sorority, which has become her home on campus.


Sara Chu, Student Relations Co-chair
Sara is a mathematics major and a corporate strategy and financial economics double minor. Along with serving as the Senior Class Fund student relations co-chair, she is on the Dance Marathon Executive Board as the catering chair, and she is a member of Kappa Delta and Voce. Sara is so excited to be part of the Senior Class Fund community and is looking forward to spreading awareness about the importance of giving back to Vanderbilt.


Nihar Patel, Student Relations Co-chair
Nihar is majoring in history with minors in Spanish and political science. In addition to his involvement with Senior Class Fund, he serves as a senior advisor for Masala-SACE, sponsorship chair for Dance Marathon and chairman for the Community Building, Outreach and Diversity Committee for Vanderbilt Student Government. His senior gift will be given to Masala-SACE along with many of the organizations mentioned here. After graduation, he plans to attend law school.


Kiersten Chresfield, Activities and Events Co-Chair
Kiersten is a Posse Scholar who was born and raised in New York City. In addition to her position on the Senior Class Fund, she currently serves as president of the Multicultural Leadership Council, representing 25 multicultural organizations, each maintaining rosters of 3 to 300 members. She is also the head resident of Morgan House, a campus tour guide and a volunteer tutor with Nations Ministry.


Nick Wells, Activities and Events Co-chair
Nick is majoring in psychology with a double-minor in corporate strategy and Spanish. In addition to serving as the activities and events co-chair for the Senior Class Fund, Nick is actively involved in VIBE, Vanderbilt's premier hip-hop dance group, and VPB Music Group. With his senior gift, Nick will give back to VIBE, as the group has helped him foster a sense of community at Vanderbilt. After graduation, Nick will pursue a career in music.
