Katherine Tennis
Chair
Katherine Tennis is a pre-med psychology major. In addition to chairing the 2009 Senior Class Fund Committee, she is also a supervisor at the Commodore Calling Center, a team leader for Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science, and a volunteer for Nashville CARES, working as a CARE team member. She looks forward to spending her final year giving back to Vanderbilt through the Senior Class Fund. After graduation she plans on attending medical school.
Dina Bandman
Student Relations Co-Chair
Dina Bandman is a communication studies and HOD double major and a Russian minor. In addition to serving on the 2008 Senior Class Fund Committee, she is assistant director of community relations for Dance Marathon and vice president membership of Kappa Delta. Dina spent this last summer working for CNBC Europe in London and traveling Europe. She is planning on moving to New York City after graduation and pursuing a career in Marketing.
Michael Poku
Communications Co-Chair
Michael Poku is a chemistry and psychology double major from Austin, Texas. Michael strives to be an active force in his Austin community, the Vanderbilt/Nashville community, as well as in communities further abroad. After graduation, he will continue his studies at Vanderbilt University Medical School.
Lauryn Smith
Activities Co-Chair
Lauryn Smith is a communication of science and technology and communication studies double major and an engineering management minor. In addition to serving as the activities co-chair for the 2009 Senior Class Fund Committee, she has been an active member of the varsity track team, as well as Vanderbilt Students Volunteering for Science, T-LSAMP, and Vanderbilt’s College as Reality program. After graduation Lauryn plans to further her education by attending law school. She hopes to help improve senior support as the Class of 2009 leaves its mark on campus.
