Marc L. Stein is a doctoral student in the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at Vanderbilt University and serves as a fellow in the Experimental Education Research Training (ExpERT) program of the United States Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences (IES). Mr. Stein received his bachelor of arts and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He has taught in secondary schools in Tennessee and Japan. He is interested in the relationship and interactions between educational policy, research, and classroom practice.
