Ruth L. Green is a research assistant with the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Dr. Green received her Ph.D. in community psychology from North Carolina State University (NCSU), where she also served as campus director for assessment and director of the Hewlett Initiative. She has designed and conducted research on a variety of school innovation initiatives in both higher education and K-12 education. Since 2002, Dr. Green has worked with the Mayor of Indianapolis charter school office on the design and implementation of the Mayor's accountability process. Her work was highlighted in the prestigious Harvard University Innovations in American Government Award for the charter school initiative. Currently she coordinates the Indianapolis Charter School Study for CEEP, in which 17 Mayor of Indianapolis Charter Schools are participating.
