The National Center on School Choice is funded by the United States Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences. The Center exercises national leadership in school choice research, including charter and magnet schools, private school vouchers, teacher recruitment, school management, and state policymaking.

Martha McCall

Manager of Growth Research Database

Northwest Evaluation Association

Dr. Martha McCall is the data manager for the Growth Research Database and a senior researcher for Northwest Evaluation Association. Before coming to NWEA in 2004, she worked for the Washington and Oregon state educational agencies as a psychometrician and researcher. She has done technical documentation of state accountability systems and program evaluation for English Language Learner and NCLB programs at the state and district level. Her projects at NWEA include growth modeling, longitudinal scaling and linking, and response time analysis. Her educational background in Systems Science and Linguistics has led to an interest in using the Growth Research Database to explore models of cognitive growth.
