Marisa CannataAssociate Director
Vanderbilt University

Marisa Cannata earned a Ph.D. in educational policy from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. Her research interests focus on policies surrounding teacher quality, including teachers’ career decisions, work experiences, and hiring. She has also published research on teacher professional community and qualifications in charter and traditional public schools.
