Christie Nuell
May 1-30 Acknowledging that eating is a vital part of our lives from the cradle to the grave, Christie Nuell investigates the many different layers represented in the action for each of us. Eating for some may be part of national culture, luxury, or the family meal. Nuell hopes the color and surface have a seductive quality that belies the threads of meaning weaving through each piece. In this, her art strives to reach across generations and beyond aesthetics and conceptual validity. Gallery Talk and Reception TBA
