Of Rage and Redemption: The Art of Oswaldo Guayasamín

In collaboration with Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery and the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies, Sarratt Gallery is pleased to share the work of the prolific Latin American icon, Oswaldo Guayamsamin. The exhibit is part of a first North American tour in over 50 years of the influential artist. Oswaldo Guayamsin was a master painter and sculptor. He is remembered for creating a Pan-American portrait of human and social inequalities which reached international recognition. Guayasamín dedicated his life to painting, sculpting, collecting, and fighting injustice.
