Gina Binkley
November 1 - December 1 Nashville-based Gina Binkley exhibits assemblages that are the “results of gleaning.” Pieces are created in the process of reconstruction or the act of “putting back together.” This process begins with the discovery of an item. Objects resonate in new perspectives in their beauty that exists as lost and found, broken and rusted. In her work, Binkley presents a new canvas on which an assemblage holds unique vision and finds progress when something taps its original craftsmanship. Gallery talk and opening reception: Thursday, November 13 • 5–6:30 p.m.
