October 3 – 29

In the spirit of Hispanic Heritage Month, Pulitzer Prize photographer José Galvez will visit Vanderbilt University. For almost 40 years, Galvez has been documenting Latino life in the United States. His compelling work, noted for its respect and pride and no pretense, captures the beauty of daily living. For Galvez, photographing Latinos has never been a one-time project or “current passion,” but a lifelong commitment to the subject.
