Artist in Residence Projects

Lindly Haunani * Polymer Clay and Color Workshop * September 14 - 16, 2007

Lindly Haunani led the first in a series of artist residencies to be held through the Sarratt Art Studios at Vanderbilt University. Known for her work in polymer clay, her skills at teaching color and her great sense of humor, Lindly worked and shared with invited artists from the Sarratt Art Studios faculty and from the Nashville area.

 

David Chatt Residency

*Most supplies for this residency will be furnished by Sarratt Art Studios.

Interested applicants should send 10 images (slides or digital), a resume, and a letter of intent to David Heustess at:

The letter of intent should explain why you want to participate, what your goals during the residency are, how you can collaborate with the group, and how you feel this program can influence your work as an artist.


Artists selected MUST commit to the following dates: January 25-27, February 8-10, February 29, March 1-2, April 11-13 (please note: the Friday of each weekend is from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays are from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm). In addition, recommended group work days will be held every Sunday between January 27 and May 4. Artists will also create art work for the May exhibit at USN's Tibbott Gallery.
