WRVU Student Radio

WRVU is the University's official student noncommercial, educational radio station. It broadcasts educational, informational, and entertainment programming to the campus and greater Middle Tennessee community.

The WRVU staff is comprised of approximately 10 students who make up the executive staff, including the Station Manager. Additionally, another 100 students, alumni, and University affiliates work as on-air program staff, technicians, and office assistants.

The WRVU studios, music libraries, and offices are located in the 182 suite in Sarratt Student Center. The stationšs transmitter and antennae are located at the WSM tower at Nob Hill in Nashville. The WRVU inventory includes two fully-equipped broadcast studios (turntable, CD, mini-disk, cassette, live phone enabled), state-of-the-art digital editing equipment, an extensive music library, a listening room, and web and office computers.
