UAVs and Mapping in the Andes:

Recently Prof. Steven A. Wernke, director of SARL, in collaboration with Dr. Julie Adams (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), has been co-directing a mapping project in the Colca valley, in the highlands of Peru, using UAVs (Unmaned Aerial Vehicles). This research would push forward the time-consuming process of archaeological mapping.
