SARL is back up and running. David Edwards (thank you David!) did a complete reimage of all workstations and the server. The Workstations now run Windows 7 pro. Much faster. The server OS was also upgraded to 64 bit.
Some important notes for users:
1) the first time you log in, it will take longer than normal because it has to create a new user profile for you.
2) the first time you log in, you will not see your data in your user folder (upper left on the desktop, a folder with your user name). This is because David had to copy over your data to a different folder, and will have to copy it back to your new ones after you log in for the first time (i.e., after Windows 7 creates your user profile folders after your first login).
So, it is critical that all users login so that we can get your data in your respective folders. David can see if you have logged in, so there is no need to contact us. He will monitor the folders and copy your data over to the correct folders.
