Russian Program at Vanderbilt

Now that the Soviet era has passed into history, study programs in Russia are mushrooming. Virtually every major educational institution in every major Russian city offers courses of one sort or another for foreigners. Students from Vanderbilt have attended a wide variety of these programs, almost always to their great satisfaction. The program in Russia that Vanderbilt most recommends for its students, however, is the one organized by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). The Council runs semester programs at St. Petersburg University, and since Vanderbilt is a member of CIEE, students at Vanderbilt receive direct credit for their studies in Russia and any Vanderbilt financial aid applies as well.
