Requirements for a major are 30 hours of course work above Russian 102. Required courses are Russian 203-204, 223-224, three courses in English offered by the Russian program, and three approved Russian content courses offered by the departments of History, Political Science, or European Studies. Hours for studies in Russia or in an American summer program may count toward a major, subject to approval of the director of undergraduate studies for Russian.
