NEH Chair Bruce Cole will discuss "The State of the Humanities"

Bruce Cole, the Chairman for the National Endowment for the Humanities, will give a lecture on “The State of the Humanities,” Friday, September 5, 2008, as part of the Chancellor’s Lecture Series. The lecture, which will take place in Ingram Hall, at the Blair School of Music, is also the culminating event in a series celebrating the Warren Center’s 20th anniversary.

Cole’s lecture will kick-off with a reception at 5:00 p.m., the talk will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on VUCast: http://www.vanderbilt.edu/news. Parking is available at South Garage (South Garage (24th Ave South @ Children's Way).
