LIL JON
Lil Jon is a rapper, producer and budding business mogul.  He is best known as a pioneer of the sub-genre of hip-hop known as “Crunk” (a combination of elements of Bounce Music, Southern Hip Hop and bass music.)  His group, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, are one of crunk's most notable groups.

Get Low” with the Ying Yang Twins was Lil Jon’s breakout hit as a crunk artist. Based on the success of "Get Low", Kings of Crunk reached the top twenty of the U.S. album chart in September 2003.

As a songwriter/producer, Lil Jon has become one of the most in-demand beatsmiths in music.  In 2004, Lil Jon produced what would be his producing breakthrough, Usher’s hit single “Yeah!”  The track which featured Ludacris quickly skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.  He also produced two other big hits of the year: Ciara’s,, “Goodies” and Petey Pablo’s “Freak-A-Leek.”  His consistent hit making earned him BMI’s 2005 Songwriter of the Year award.  He also scored eight Billboard Awards, including Rap Song of the Year for “Lovers and Friends” with Usher and Ludacris.
