Intellectual

Intellectual wellness is engaging in creative and stimulating mental activities, which then allow expanding ones knowledge and skills. Developing the free will to learn, observe and ask questions is important. As well as, exposing yourself to new experiences, new art and new skills.

Intellectual people are interested in mental growth and stimulation, and are also involved in exploration of new ideas and understandings. It is vital to spend time in pursuing personal interest, which may include:

  • Reading books
  • Newspaper
  • Staying current with world and local affairs
  • Keeping up with the news
  • Staying interested in community activities
  • Expand the knowledge of others.

Our individual discipline and habits can affect our ability to advance academically and intellectually. It’s important to have effective study skills and time management as college students.
