Duo Chefs ‘Take On’ Ancient Grains – Join Chef Brian Hancock, Chef of the McGugin, and Sous Chef Austin Irvin as they take over the demonstration kitchen to create masterful dishes using ancient grains. These delicious grains offer a variety of tastes and textures that support our meeting the Dietary Guidelines for increasing whole grains.

Join Jamie Pope, MS, RD, LDN from the School of Nursing as she discusses the new US Dietary Guidelines topped off with healthy dishes to showcase some of the latest changes.
The Vandy Cooks demonstrations are offered monthly in the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center’s Demonstration Kitchen to celebrate healthy eating at Vanderbilt.
