The demonstration kitchen and classroom is a unique space able to serve the culinary needs of groups 2 – 60 in size. This space is used frequently for our Vandy Cooks demonstrations but is also available for reservation for Vanderbilt and non-Vanderbilt affiliated groups. Demonstration Kitchen Reservations
The demonstration kitchen can be reserved by Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff having a Vanderbilt account through the Event Management System (EMS)
*Multi-facility use reservations that include the Demonstration Kitchen will take precedence over reservations for the Demonstration Kitchen only.
Demonstration Kitchen Reservation Rates
Deposit: $100 deposit is required at the time of reservation
Hourly rate: $38/hour for Vanderbilt Affiliated Groups and $64/hour for Non-Vanderbilt Affiliated Groups.
Individual/Groups with No Fee: Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center (VRWC) staff, Health Plus staff co-sponsoring an activity or event with VRWC, and outside groups co-sponsoring an activity or event with VRWC
Demonstration Kitchen Refunds
Deposit: $100 deposit is required at the time of reservation, but refunded if the demonstration kitchen is clean, without damage, all items accounted for following use, and the End of Event Check-Off form is satisfactory following completion by the event responsible person and the VRWC building supervisor.
Cancellation: If made through Reservations and Events 1 week prior to the scheduled event, one-half of the deposit refunded along with rental fee.

- Built-In Dishwasher
- Four Burner 36” Built-In Electric Cooktop
- Built-In Microwave Oven
- 25.1 Cubic Foot Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator
- 36” Island Ventilation Hood
- Tables and Chairs
- Audio Visual/Sound System
Culinary supplies are not included.
