Home » Climbing Wall
Vanderbilt has a new climbing wall located in the VRWC! The new, state-of-the-art wall has over 2000 sq. ft. of climbing, offers both top-rope and bouldering, and includes angles other than 90 degrees!
First time climbing?
No sweat! We have staff ready and eager to assist you with your introduction to the sport. Climbing shoes and harnesses can be rented free of charge when you get to the wall.
Is ClimbNashville your second home?
Stop by with a partner to show us your belaying skills and the climbing wall staff will give you a fancy tag to show off to your friends and brighten up your harness. Bring you’re A-game, as you will need to know how to properly put on a harness, tie in with a figure-eight follow-through, and use proper technique while belaying your partner.
Heights not your thing?
Have you recently had reason to doubt your climbing partner’s belaying skills? Not a problem! The wall will also host a wide variety of bouldering routes. This style of climbing lets you stay low to the ground, allowing you to ditch the harness and rope and make it all about the movement – pure and simple. Whatever your style, we’ve got you covered!
Watch for our grand opening!
