Janelle St. Croix

Janelle St. Croix is the legislative analyst at the Vanderbilt University Office of Federal Relations in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of Catholic University of America where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music and worked as administrative assistant to the director of the Professional Development Workshops and Institutes.

As legislative analyst, St. Croix is responsible for attending congressional hearings and press briefings on issues of particular interest to Vanderbilt; maintaining a comprehensive database of policymakers who serve as contacts and customers for the federal relations office; preparing a daily summary of news reports on federal issues of importance to Vanderbilt and other research universities; and conducting daily reviews and searches of journals and Websites to identify and summarize developments of importance to Vanderbilt's federal relations activities.
