Calendar of Events
To stay current on Vanderbilt’s activities in Washington, the calendar below provides information on events and meetings in which Office of Federal Relations staff are participating, visits from campus officials, and other activities related to national policy decision-making that impacts higher education.

November 2009
Nov. 2: Bill Ivey, director of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise and Public Policy, visits Washington for meetings and an Arts Industries Policy Forum on “Equitable Access to Airwaves” with guest speakers Cheryl Leanza, policy director for the Office of Communications, United Church of Christ, and Michael Shay, environmental activist and founder of one of the first licensed LPFM radio stations in the nation.
Nov. 3-4: Christina West, director of federal relations, participates in the monthly meetings of the Association of American Universities’ Council on Federal Relations.
Nov. 9-11: Elise McMillan, director of community outreach at Vanderbilt's Kennedy Center, visits Washington for meetings.
