IRB / HSR Compliance Requirement

Researchers working with human subjects with Vanderbilt PI's are required to be listed on Institutional Review Board [IRB] protocols & to complete Humans Subjects Research training [HSR] annually within the CITI system.

*Please note: IRB / HSR training in CITI is NOT THE SAME as RCR compliance [also completed within CITI].

Basics on CITI course layout can be found here.

The HSR courses are administered by CITI, the same organization that supports RCR and IACUC courses that some of you may have taken before. If you have never used CITI, check out this page for detailed information on accessing the HSR courses under "Initial Log-in": https://www4.vanderbilt.edu/irb/citi-instructions/

Returning Users

If you have accessed CITI before, please login and follow the prompts below. Please visit: https://www.citiprogram.org/
