- B.A., Transylvania University, Psychology (Honors), 2002
- M.A., Vanderbilt University, Psychological Sciences, 2005
Research Area
- I am broadly interested in the study of group behavior, including social identity processes, social dilemmas, and collective action. Current research projects include the study of partisan identity and political activity during the 2004 and 2006 U.S. federal elections, and the study of ethical perception on the basis of group membership. I am also interested in the application of social psychological theory and research to environmental problems. Currently, I am co-investigator on a project in which we are developing persuasive communication techniques to reduce driving-related pollution emissions.
