Research Area

  • My research broadly focuses on the application of psychological and behavioral theory to environmental conservation. Current projects include the development and evaluation of interventions to promote energy conservation in the home and workplace, as well as the the development of persuasive communication techniques to modify driving behavior. I have also been involved in research exploring the role of social identity processes in intergroup conflict and political activity, particularly within the context of recent federal elections.
