    Steve McFadyen-Ketchum

    Senior Lecturer in Psychology, Retired
    Retired Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. McFadyen-Ketchum conducts meta-analytic, theory-testing research on the causes of child psychological/psychiatric disorder and disease versus mental health. In the past this work focused on aggression. Currently it focuses on Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, its comorbid disorders, and associated problems of cognitive functioning versus effective executive functioning and self-regulation.  Causes tested include behavioral- and molecular-genetic effects and social environment effects such as stress-disrupted versus adequate parenting.
